"Zug-Menschen" is a live audio performance, inspired by the sounds and  experiences of being in a train. The sound piece consists of various audio-recordings, realized inside and outside of trains and train stations. The claustrophobic quietness caused by strangers sitting in a non-place, in thoughts already at their given destinations, creating an absent and dreamy yet disturbing atmosphere. The piece uses a quadrophonic format, in which various audiotracks are simultaneously and alternatively channeled and controlled, via effects and panning, in order to let the sound wander. The movement and the unfixed state of the piece interacts with the audience's act of being in a static condition and creates a paradox situation.
